How to play Shape I’m In on the Saxophone

In the late 1970’s here in Australia there was a very well known band called Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons.

One of their best known songs was called ” Shape I’m In “.

The saxophone riff in this song is actually quite simple.  Here’s how to play the saxophone line from Shape I’m In by Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons.

This video is an edited version of the full saxophone lesson inside the Members Area here at HowToPlayTheSax.com .  Watch my fingers to get a feel for the notes, but the emphasis here is having some fun.

The full version of this saxophone lesson runs for about 12 and a half minutes.
