Why Can’t I Be You Saxophone Lesson

The Cure had a great song in the late 1980’s called Why Can’t I Be You…..and it’s got some great brass and keyboard lines that translate very nicely onto the saxophone.

Why Can’t I Be You by The Cure is a fun song with a repetitive beat and rhythm.  Even if you are a Saxophone Bedroom Warrior, this song is good for keeping in time, coming back in with the main riff and for listening to what the other instruments and vocals are doing throughout the song.

If you would like to play along with a rather fun and infectious, repetitive riff, then please join me in another of our many saxophone lessons here at HowToPlayTheSax.com !
