The Peter Gunn Theme song is a very famous song – and is one that you MUST learn how to play on your saxophone.

It is one of those rare songs that gets two runs at public awareness.

The original version – Peter Gunn by Henry Mancini – was the theme song of the 1960’s TV show.

The next version – Peter Gunn by The Blues Brothers – got another airing in the late 1970’s, which made it famous all over again.

The video above is a brief and edited version of the saxophone lesson inside the Members Area here at for this song – and shows both the Henry Mancini and the Blues Brothers saxophone notes and fingering.
