All Revved Up With No Place To Go Meatloaf Cover
Meatloaf was a giant in the global charts in the 1970’s and 1980’s. One of his biggest hits was the great song All Revved Up With No Place To Go.
At the risk of yet another shameless plug (spoiler alert – there will be more !!), I find myself playing in a band called To Hell And Back Australia’s Tribute to Meatloaf.
These extremely talent musicians are smashing it when it comes to all things Meatloaf.
Complete with wigs, costumes, skeletons, tomb stones and the occasional rubber bat, now that venues are opening up again, To Hell And Back are gracing stages all over Melbourne.
Recently we had a HUGE gig at fantastic venue called Musicland, where we played our version of the great Meatloaf song All Revved Up With No Place To Go.
Special thanks to Gary, Deb, Tom, Daryl, Craig and John for their friendliness, their musical skills, their sense of fun, adventure and humour for allowing me to share their stage.

I am thoroughly enjoying myself playing with To Hell And Back Australia’s Tribute to Meatloaf. I am really looking forward to the fantastic gigs and performances we’ve got booked and coming up soon to a venue near you….well, in Melbourne at this stage anyway…..
I am fortunate to play with a few bands here in Melbourne, plus a wonderful theatre company as well. I get to play my saxophone with incredible musicians, actors and performers.
I seek out musical styles and genres that I personally enjoy. I go out of my way to have fun with my saxophone.
Some of this is social (which has obviously been difficult during COVID lockdowns and restrictions all over the world), but a major part of it for me is musical enjoyment.
I would encourage you to have fun, play saxophone, be awesome and repeat too !!
And if you can play your saxophone with other people – such as with my All Revved Up With No Place To Go Meatloaf cover example above – then you will be on your way to a lifetime of musical enjoyment.
