We’ve got several Christmas songs for saxophone here for you to get stuck into….if Christmas and Christmas songs are your thing. And, if Christmas is not your thing, we’ve still got HEAPS of AWESOME songs for you to play along with and enjoy this holiday season too.
Silent Night Saxophone
Who does not like the standard Christmas Carol “Silent Night” ? We have done a quick and edited version of Silent Night for saxophone on our blog. We also have a full version of this Alto Saxophone Christmas Song inside our Members Area.
This beautiful song translates nicely into “saxophone”. It is open to expressiveness and subtly…like the human voice, the saxophone can also produce some wonderful sounds…and learning how to play Silent Night on the saxophone can be a great way to impress your friends and family at Christmas time.
Another classic Christmas Carol that is just begging to be played is the Good King Wenceslas saxophone version.
One of many rousing Christmas songs for saxophone, Good King Wenceslas and his friend Stephen always have fun…especially when they rock out with their saxes.
An shortened version lives here on the HowToPlayTheSax.com blog, and a longer more detailed version of our Good King Wenceslas Saxophone lesson lives inside our Members Area.
Merry Christmas, Baby Saxophone
Bruce Springsteen, (including his famous saxophone friend Clarence Clemons) and the E Street Band had a huge hit with their song Merry Christmas, Baby.
Featuring a very well known and surprisingly easy saxophone riff, what is not to like about Merry Christmas, Baby ?
