How To Play The Sax Interview With Side Hustle School
Recently I had the honour – again – of being featured and interviewed on the fantastic Podcast known as Side Hustle School.
A few years ago, I was featured in one of their earlier episodes, number 210. This was when HowToPlayTheSax.com was in its bare infancy. There were a few saxophone lessons in the mix at that stage, but certainly not many.
Then:
Here is the audio from that episode titled “Saxophonist Hustles His Way To Back Injury Recovery“:
Now:
Fast forward to now, and I was lucky enough to be featured AGAIN on their Throw Back Thursday episode 1356.
Here is the audio from this new episode titled “TBT: Teaching The World To Play Saxophone“:
Tina, Nathan, Chris and the Side Hustle School team have been very generous with their time and expertise, making my interview with Side Hustle School great fun and very easy. Thank you Tina, Nathan and Chris !!!
In this episode 1356 of Side Hustle School, we had a chat about the business side of online saxophone lessons…..and I’m pleased that I managed to get an ice cream analogy into the conversation.
Long time followers here will know that two of my most favourite things in the whole world in space are saxophones and ice cream 🙂
The overall concept and take away from this interview with Side Hustle School is that, if possible, try to pursue your hopes and dreams. Follow your heart, follow your passions.
If you do that consistently, then you cannot help but to succeed !
This includes learning how to play the saxophone – or any other musical instrument, or indeed any other new skill.
If you keep going, keep trying, keep having fun, keep playing saxophone, keep being awesome and keep repeating, then you WILL be able to play the music that YOU want to play !
May I recommend listening to the Side Hustle School Podcast if you are looking for inspiration and ideas for your side hustle.
I did…and that is one of several reasons that HowToPlayTheSax.com exists !
As Chris Guillebeau says, “Inspiration is good; inspiration combined with action is better.” This applies equally to both side hustles AND learning how to play the sax 🙂
Thanks,
Matthew
